Kea – Kythnos Cruise

The Experience

From Merichas we set sail for the island of Kea, less than 15 nautical miles from Kythnos.

Our destination is the southern side of the island, where you will discover the historical treasures of Karthaia, one of the four ancient cities of Kea, best known for its monumental architecture, elaborate fortifications and silver coins that testify to an economic and demographic boom.

The archaeological site includes the Temple of Pythian Apollo and the Temple of Athena, and you can relax on one of the island’s most beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters.

The cruise continues to the north-western side of Kythnos and its most popular beaches, such as the famous Kolona beach, where you can dive into the turquoise waters or enjoy a glass of fine wine at sunset, when the sun paints the sky in shades of orange and red.
